Flowers are wonderful!  We all love giving and receiving bouquets.  The Garden Gate in involved with Flowers For Kids, an educational program that is designed to teach schoolchildren about how to grow, take care of and enjoy flowers.  The classes encompasses a little bit of biology, chemistry and artistry.  By the end of the class all involved know how to treat flowers, make flower food and do a basic flower arrangement with fillers, focals and greens.  The best part is that the students then get to take home their bouquets!  If you have any questions or would like to schedule a Flowers For Kids workshop for your school, church, birthday party or other organization, please feel free to contact me.
